- Navigate to the Options page and choose the newly created submenu Kontera Settings.
- In the top field, enter your publisher ID number. This is your personal ID which appears on your ContentLink tag:

I was using Rodney’s Kontera plugin but this one is more configurable looks nice too, I have to think about using it.
The plugin provided for drupal is not working with version 6.2. When we can expect a new version from your end. Here is the error details
“This version is incompatible with the 6.2 version of Drupal core.”
What about wordpress between 2.0 and 2.5. In my case I’m still in 2.2.1. I tried the plugin for WrodPress 2.0 and it didn’t work. I also removed the kontera tag (javascript) from the theme template. Should I do that? Wish your doc can make it more clear.

I have removed my code that I hand inserted and then installed this plug-in. I configured it as described and updated options. The blog is no longer showing links. I see in the source code the plug-in has posted the code twice.
Two questions.
1) Does it take a while to activate?
2) Is the plug-in suppose to install code twice?

This is a great plugin but it doesn’t work in terms of exluding posts that don’t use ids for the url structure.
For instance my urls are as follows:
http://www.workathomenoscams.com/2007/11/21/goodbye-9-5-hello-working-at-home-my-reason-for-thanksgiving/
So how could I exclude this post using the settings of this plug in?

1) The plugin should work as soon as you activate it.
2) The code is not supposed to install twice. I’ll be happy to help but I need to know more details about your blog. What’s the URL?

To exclude a post, you have to fill in the post id. This number appears in one of several locations in your WP interface, depending which version you use. You may be able to find it under:
Manage–> posts. Look at the left-most column of the chart.

Thanks for getting back to me. I was able to find the post ids using your instructions.
Now I went into the kontera plugin settings and added an of a post.
Then I went and visited the post using the friendly url not the post id version and the kontera links still came up.
Should I be changing some other setting?

What version of WP are you using?
This feature is guaranteed to work with WP 2.5. When it comes to older versions, though we made every effort to make the plugin well adapted, some features may not work to the fullest extent.

Blocking the ads for x amount of days is not working for me. Only if I leave it empty will ads appear.
Also the with “Display ContentLinks only on posts” checked, I still get ads in pages. I wish it would only do posts.

I find it a bit strange that the “is_in_disable_interval” function uses a “to_date” variable which is supposed to get posted in the form from the admin panl update_option(‘to_date’, $_POST['to_date']);, but I can’t find where to_date is actually getting a value…
Nevermind, it’s something in my installation. I will have to dig deep to find it, but I just created a testblog and activated all the same plug-ins, copied my theme over and on the test blog everything works fine.
Could it have to do with the charset? I still have Latin Swedish 1 on my live install, the test one has UTF-8 Unicode…

I, too, installed the plugin and configured. I am not receiving any ads on my website. When I place the code from the Kontera website into my Sidebar, I am able to get adds on individual posts and in the first blog entry of my main page.

Have to check it out. Was just inserting code in the footer and page templates to get Kontera on my blog. This should make it easier to manage instead of having to edit the template files.

Upon using the plugin, I noticed two things:
You cannot manually set a hexadecimal color code for the links (you have to choose from the palette.)
There seems to be a slight delay of 15-30 minutes before ContentLinks show up on the latest post, even if you set “Block ads on new posts” for 0 days or leave it blank. Is there any way to fix this, or will it be addressed in a future release? Regardless, this is a well thought out plugin.

As a default publisher ID would make link appear but Why my publisher ID could not give context link appear in my blog. I use wp-max as its theme. Do I still wait for activation?
