On Friday Oct 29, San Francisco’s hometown team, the San Francisco Giants were just a couple of days away from winning their first World Series in 56 years, and with all of the excitement in the air you just knew there was going to be an extra special amount of celebrating at this year’s office Halloween party .
That great energy translated into some amazing costumes as Superman, The Super Mario Brothers, pirates, a bumble bee, a Roman soldier, a Roman prisoner, and even the late Paul the Octopus competed for title of best Halloween costume. In fact the outfits were so creative, that we couldn’t decide on just one winner! Here are the top three entries:

MariCate won for most Original Costume. If you look closely, her Marge Simpson even has yellow skin.

Ryan Fiedman won funniest costume for his interpretation of a BP employee on clean up duty. Oddly, that huge overbite also works for Marge Simpson.

Next, Brian Larson won the award for best overall costume for his tribute to motivational speaker/skydiver Jim McCormick. While you can’t see it from this angle, Brian nailed every detail, right down to the Visualize, Plan, Execute, Win mantra written on his sleeve. You can compare Brian to the real Jumping Jim here.
Finally, a special honorable mention goes to everyone who dressed up as a member of the San Francisco Giants:

After some spooky light refreshments were served, the baseball theme continued as everyone took turns taking blindfolded swings at piñata dressed as a pirate.

A fun time was had by all and we can’t wait to do it all over again next year! For even more fun behind the scenes Halloween action, you can check out the entire picture album from the party on our Facebook Page.
